Parking On Campus

ADA Parking

Only authorized persons may use a parking space marked with the ADA wheelchair symbol sign. It is illegal to park for any amount of time in an ADA space if you don’t have the required ADA-DMV parking permit. It is also illegal, even for the ADA permit holders, to park in the striped areas next to an ADA parking space.

A valid ADA parking permit issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) must be displayed along with an OSU parking permit while parking on the OSU campus other than in metered spaces. With a valid DMV placard, free parking is available at any meter that has a limit over 30 minutes.

Reserved Parking

Reserved parking spaces are designated for exclusive use by any college, school, department or other approved organization such as businesses or agencies required to park on campus in order to provide a service to OSU.

  • Purchase of these reserved parking spaces must be renewed annually.
  • Reserved space parking permits will be issued to the College, School, Department or other approved organization.
  • Reserved space permits must be properly displayed in any vehicle parking in the reserved space.
  • OSU faculty, staff, emeritus or students must also display a valid OSU parking permit in addition to the reserved space parking permit when utilizing reserved spaces.
